Syracuse, N.Y. – In our third summer of Covid-19, it’s time to pause and appreciate how far we’ve come – and where we might be headed if we become too complacent.

Even amidst the most infectious variant yet, few people are getting seriously ill and far fewer are dying. Of all 152 patients in intensive care in Syracuse hospitals on Monday, only two were there for Covid.
