U.S. CDC advises against travel to S. Korea due to spread of COVID-19News


The CDC on Monday has added South Korea to its list of countries Americans are advised against traveling to due to COVID-19.
There are about 140 destinations on the list.
The CDC classifies countries as level fourif they see more than 500 infections for every 100-thousand people.
The U.S. State Department on Monday also raised its travel advisory rating for South Korea to the highest levellevel fourand urged Americans to avoid anything other than essential trips.
