All four local counties are at medium risk of COVID-19 as of Thursday, according to the CDC.
According to the state Department of Health, as of Tuesday, there were three new cases of COVID-19 in McKean County for a total of 9,169. In the prior week, there were 42 new cases; in the prior month, 276 new cases. So far this year, there have been 2,811 new cases.
As for vaccines, 57.1% of county residents had at least one dose while 46.9% were fully vaccinated.
In Elk County, there were three new cases as of Tuesday for a cumulative total of 8,022. In the prior week, there were 65 new cases; in the prior month, 236 new cases. So far this year, there have been 2,636 new cases.
As for vaccines, 62.1% of county residents had at least one dose, while 56.2% were fully vaccinated.
In Potter County, there were two new cases as of Tuesday for a cumulative total of 3,582. In the prior week, there were 23 new cases; in the prior month, 88 new cases. So far this year, there have been 992 new cases.
As for vaccines, 45.4% of residents had at least one dose, while 38.1% were fully vaccinated.
In Cameron County, there were no new cases as of Tuesday. The cumulative total is 930. There were four new cases in the prior week and 21 in the prior month. So far this year, there have been 280 new cases.
As for vaccines, 60.6% of residents had at least one dose, while 55.4% were fully vaccinated.
