A panel of outside experts to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will meet Wednesday to discuss Covid-19 boosters.
The meeting is expected to include at least one vote with a recommendation on the U.S. booster campaign, although the CDC hadn’t released an agenda as of Tuesday afternoon. The agency usually convenes the advisory panel when there is a particular issue or concern that might require in-depth discussion. The committee has been called to advise the CDC on multiple matters regarding vaccine rollout throughout the pandemic.
