U.S. health officials continue to monitor for coronavirus cases in the United States.
More than 80 million cases have been confirmed in the U.S., according to NBC News’ count. New cases are rising, and the country has averaged between 30,000 – 60,000 new cases per day since April 1.
There have been more than 900,000 reported deaths.
