Los Angeles County public health officials reported 4,879 new cases of the coronavirus since Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,148,370 as of Wednesday, July 6.
Officials reported 14 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Tuesday for a total of 32,385 deaths since tracking began.
There were 129 more hospitalizations reported Wednesday, bringing the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 to 920.
According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 76% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated.
