Los Angeles County public health officials reported 3,722 new cases of the coronavirus since Monday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,008,619 as of Tuesday, June 7.
Officials reported 10 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Monday for a total of 32,178 deaths since tracking began.
There were 27 more hospitalizations reported since Monday, bringing the total count of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 557.
According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 76% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated.
