Los Angeles County public health officials reported 2,705 more cases of the coronavirus since Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,413,783 as of Friday, Sept 2.
Officials reported 16 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Thursday for a total of 33,187 deaths since tracking began.
There were 24 more hospitalizations since Thursday, bringing the total number of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 788.
According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 19,705,835 doses administered.
