Los Angeles County public health officials reported 1,767 more cases of the coronavirus since Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,423,672 as of Thursday, Sept 8.
Officials reported 15 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Wednesday for a total of 33,334 deaths since tracking began.
There were three fewer hospitalizations reported since Wednesday, brining the total number of patients with coronavirus to 780.
According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 19,722,142 doses administered.
