Now, she has spoken up about how the experience becomes worse when people — especially when it is close friends and family members — do not understand the problem and become dismissive about it.

She said, “For me, it depends on how close the person is. Like, if it is on social media I don’t usually engage in it because I realize that somebody else’s opinion on me, my mental health, or mental health, in general, is none of my business. It is their thing,””
“The journey to lose weight is never an easy one. Not only does it require one to be patient and extremely dedicated, but it also often comes with certain dietary dos and don’ts. While there are certain foods that are easy to give up or consume restrictively, many others can be tricky to avoid — like aerated drinks, juices, and occasionally, alcohol. So, can you consume these items and still lose weight?

The answer is ‘no’, said experts, adding that these items not just hamper weight loss but are harmful to the body in general. Ruchika Jain, Chief Dietician told indianexpress.com, “Consuming alcohol, aerated drinks, and juices regularly are not advised when trying to lose weight.”

“Moving on, in more than 90 per cent of cases, statin therapy is not likely to be the cause of muscle pain in a person taking statins, according to the most comprehensive analysis of the risks to date, published in The Lancet.

Statin therapy is widely prescribed as effective prevention of cardiovascular disease but there have been widespread concerns that statins may frequently cause muscle pain or weakness.

The new study looks at individual patient data to provide a more detailed analysis of the risk of muscle pain caused by statins than has previously been possible and concludes that this is low and does not outweigh the benefits of statin therapy.

“Often, we end up making an excuse to not work out. But doing so can prove to be extremely detrimental to health. You must ensure to take out a few minutes and invest in your well-being. After all, the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends 30 minutes of exercise each day to make 150 hours in a five-day week. If you are still not convinced, here’s some much-needed fitness inspiration from Sonnalli Seygall. She said while demonstrating two functional bodyweight exercises, “The most common excuse or problem people have is lack of time! But sometimes even 10 minutes is better than doing nothing at all,” She can be seen doing air squats and lunges.

“Fitness enthusiasts and experts swear by circuit training (body conditioning that involves endurance training, resistance training, high-intensity aerobics, and exercises) that can prove immensely helpful in our day-to-day activities.

Gabriella Demetriades is too a fan of circuit training. The model and designer shared a glimpse of her workout. She revealed, “20 minutes, five rounds. Split squats/sumo dead lifts/side lunges/wall ball shots/pelvic thrusts,”
This is not the first time that the 34-year-old is seen doing circuit training. Previously too, she shared an inspiring fitness post. She added, “I truly love circuit training. Find a movement you love, whatever it is, and just make it a part of your life,”

“The ‘Mimi‘ actor recently shared a video on Instagram, in which she displayed her love for fitness and what exactly it is that she does to stay in shape through the numerous characters she plays on screen.

Dressed in a pair of black stretchy shorts and a sports bra, Sanon appeared to demonstrate different exercises at the gym. She was joined by her trainer Karan Sawhney, who helped her navigate the difficult exercises, which focused on leg and arm strength. First, the actor was seen pushing a weight, which involved her working the muscles around her hips and legs. Next, she did some half sit-ups with a weight placed on her lap, to strengthen her knees and lower body.”

In the video, she shared that during the time around menstruation, a woman’s body is constantly in want of a baby, and to prepare for pregnancy and the baby’s future it activates the milk-producing units in the breasts.
She wrote, “Estrogen and progesterone lead to changes inside the breasts that make them grow.””
“Lastly, Ginger is a popular spice and an indispensable part of Indian kitchens. From adding flavour to tea to being used in healthy concoctions for immunity — it serves a host of purposes. While we usually employ the use of fresh ginger, you must not miss out on the many benefits of dry ginger. Ayurvedic expert Dr Rekha Radhamony shared that she recently recovered from seasonal cold and flu by drinking only dry ginger water. “Dry ginger is considered better than fresh ginger in Ayurveda,” she wrote, as she listed four reasons why “dried ginger is the real hero”.
She said, “Despite being absorbent (grahi), dry ginger is a mild laxative and great for constipation,””
