Los Angeles County public health officials reported 5,051 new cases of the coronavirus since Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 2,990,651 as of Friday, June 3.
Officials reported 10 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Thursday, for a total of 32,152 deaths since tracking began.
There were two fewer hospitalizations reported since Thursday, bringing the total count of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 522.
According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 76% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated.
