The March 2022 Preventive Medicine Grand Rounds features Dr. Jeremy Blanchard, a fellow Physician with the Boise Addiction Medicine Program. Dr. Blanchard describes the foundations of the addiction medicine field and the clinical and epidemiologic developments that are shaping the future of this expanding specialty. He will review data on opioids, alcohol, tobacco, and novel substances of abuse and discuss the evidence behind substance use disorder treatments.
