CDC moves McLean County to medium risk level after rise in new cases

An increase in coronavirus cases has pushed McLean County into a medium risk level for coronavirus spread, according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

McLean is one of four Illinois counties with the medium designation, along with DeWitt, Champaign and DuPage. The rest are all considered low.

The CDC strongly recommends people in areas where the community level is medium to consider wearing masks in indoor places if they are considered high risk of spreading COVID-19 or if they have high risk people in their household.
