COVID variants BQ.1/BQ.1.1 make up 44% of U.S. cases


Nov 11 (Reuters) – The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Friday said that Omicron subvariants BQ.1 and BQ.1.1 are estimated to account for about 44% of COVID-19 cases in the country for the week ending Nov. 12 compared with 32.6% in the previous week.
