Los Angeles County public health officials reported 3,237 more cases of the coronavirus since Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,408,413 as of Wednesday, Aug. 31.
Officials reported 17 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Tuesday for a total of 33,155 deaths since tracking began.
Update on hospitalizations is pending for information from the California Department of Public Health.
According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated with 19,695,009 doses administered.
