Los Angeles County public health officials reported 2,314 more cases of the coronavirus since Monday, bringing the total number of cases to 33,041 as of Tuesday, Aug. 23.
Officials reported 14 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Monday for a total of 33,041 deaths since tracking began.
There were 81 fewer patients since Friday, bringing the total of those hospitalized with coronavirus to 915.
According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 77% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated.
