L.A. County reported 6,399 more cases and 18 new deaths, July 29 – Daily News


Los Angeles County public health officials reported 6,399 new cases of the coronavirus since Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 3,292,692 as of Friday, July 29.

Officials reported 18 more deaths linked to the coronavirus since Thursday for a total of 32,708 deaths since tracking began.

There were no hospitalizations reported since Thursday, keeping the total number of people hospitalized with coronavirus to 1,239.

According to the California Department of Public Health’s vaccines dashboard, 76% of Los Angeles County is fully vaccinated.
