CDC Victoria says it will continue to deliver its reliable and efficient bus services in Ballarat, Geelong and Mildura after having its regional bus services contracts renewed,
The wholly owned subsidiary of ComfortDelGro Corporation Australia (CDC) has announced a renewed 10-year contract that came into effect from July 1.
CDC says the contracts cover major route services, school services and V/Line services in the regional areas of Ballarat, Geelong and Mildura, with the contracts being modernised to deliver improved bus services, better customer experience and greater transparency of bus performance.
CDC Victoria currently employs more than 300 people and operates more than 240 buses in regional Victoria.
CDC Victoria CEO Jeff Wilson says he’s excited with the company’s transition to the new contract arrangements and is committed to delivering a great outcome for the regional communities.

“CDC Victoria is pleased to continue providing long-term employment opportunities for our regional people,” Wilson says.
“We are proud to have a huge diversity in our workforce and this long-term contract will enable us to continue to contribute to better social outcomes for regional communities.”
Wilson says another important part of the new contracts involves transitioning to zero-emission vehicle technologies commencing in 2025 while also achieving the 2050 net-zero emissions goal.
“CDC is very experienced with the zero-emission buses internationally and the reduction of our environmental footprints is key to our sustainability,” Wilson says.
