Coronavirus Australia live news: Victoria’s chief health officer Brett Sutton says people have earned right to ‘enjoy themselves’
No new community cases in New Zealand
There have been seven new cases of coronavirus reported in New Zealand in the past 24 hours, all of which were in managed isolation.
There were no new cases in the community.
Those returning positive tests had travelled from the USA, Ukraine, Dubai and four cases on two separate flights from Qatar.
The total number of active cases is now 75.
There were 5,964 tests conducted in the country yesterday.
New Zealand authorities also commented on the case where a traveller from New Zealand tested weakly positive upon arrival in Japan on October 23.
Further testing revealed that the child and their family all returned negative results, and that the positive was not from a recent infection.
